At
the Capital House complex, our four newly renovated conference
rooms offer a restful decor with comfortable seating up to
80 people arranged in theatre style and up to 35 around tables.
In addition, Several Break-off rooms are available close by
with each seating from 10 - 20 people. A Selection of Equipment
for Hire is available including both electronic and standard
white boards of varied sizes, flip chart stands with pads
of paper, Over head projectors, TV/video units
iced water and peppermints can be provided thoughout the course
of a day or night.
All rooms have natural light and beautiful views. All with
doors opening onto front lawns and decks.You will ultimately
decide upon the requirements for your conference or gathering,
however we will gladly offer advice gleened from previous
experience as to appropriate layouts of rooms and the timing
of meals. Unless otherwise requested, our own staff will setup
the conference rooms and provide the necessary facilities.
Staff will always be available at any time to meet your needs
that may arise, otherwise attending to the groups requirements
descretly behind the scenes.

York Room
The
York Suite area is found in the west branch of the building.
This spacious section consists of the main York room and several
break-off rooms including three sets of bathrooms with toilets.
All interconnected through a hallway that can be closed off
from the rest of the building enabling users to maintain complete
control of their environment and ensuring the utmost privacy.

80 theatre style, Seating 35 Boardroom style, Approxamately

3 sets of glass doors opening onto our main lawn and surrounding
gardens. With views over Evans bay and the harbour, this area
is a favourite for barbeques and groups wanting to enjoy the
surroundings over a meal and refreshments brought out from inside.
Groups are welcome to utilize this area anytime during their
stay, even if it just to stretch the legs for a moment during
a morning or afternoon tea break. We have many tables and chairs
that can be positioned within the shade of the long balconies
or out on the lawn under umbrellas. |

Northern Suite
Located
at the northern end of the building, this area features a
comfortable 'at home' feeling making it a favourite for smaller
groups. This stylish room opens out with large windows overlooking
evans bay, the nearby truby king gardens and our Northern
lawn. There is also direct access onto the main lawn from
this section.

Truby Room
Opening up onto a newly constructed deck area that follows around
onto our main lawn area.

Cobham Room
Located
in the penthouse section, both the room and veranda possess
terrace and panoramic views. This section also includes a
small kitchen area and bathroom with toilet. Elevated above
it all. One simply cannot get a better view than from here.
